In normal operating conditions, the mountings provide vibration isolation generally equivalent to open spring mountings, but, when subjected to physical displacements such as those generated by seismic forces, equipment motion relative to the supporting structure is restricted. At the maximum restraint capacity of each mounting type, movement is limited to less than 12mm along any major axis.

| Heavy Duty, XM Series Types XLM-2, XWM-2, XWM-4, XDM-2, XTM-2 Low profile, high load capacity mountings offering static deflections to 75mm, Rates for static force capacity in excess of the requirements of AS1170.4 and NZS4219 for seismic zones in Australia and New Zealand respectively and for other designated zones internationally. Specifically used for the mounting of generator sets and chillers, or where high shock loads may occur. |

| Independent Seismic Mounts, SR Series Types SR1, SR2, SR3, SR4 The mounting used to not incorporate seismic restrain capacity as an integral feature - mountings such as elastomeric isolators, high deflection high capacity spring mountings or air mountings |

|
| Cable restraints
Used in conjuntion with spring or rubber hangers for the seismic restraint of suspended piping and equipment. Installation is generally undertaken when all piping and other equipment is in position and fully loaded. |
