Project Overview

Florey Neuroscience Institutes (FNI) is one of the world's top 10 brain research centres,employing 300 research and support staff .

When building the new Howard Florey Neuroscience Building at Melbourne University's Parkville campus, it was essential to create an environment completely free from vibration to ensure a perfect environment for critical experiments.

Embelton was engaged by Brookfield Multiplex to design and supply an isolation system for the elevators in the building, which are a major conduit of noise and vibration in building structures.
